Energy Saver Loan
Borrow up to $35,000 for solar panels and other home energy upgrades as an eligible credit union member.

Use the loan for solar panel installation, dual-pane windows, attic or wall insulation, Energy Star rated major appliances, heating or cooling systems, cool roof systems and most Energy Star rated upgrades.
Yolo Federal Credit Union lends you money for the improvements, which you repay through payments that stay the same over a fixed term. You can borrow up to $35,000 for up to 120 months.
The advertised annual percentage rate (APR) starts at 6.50%, effective October 1, 2026. The rate illustration uses a $10,000 balance or the minimum amount required for the term. Your rate and term depend on your creditworthiness, and a higher rate may apply.
Eligibility
- You must qualify for Yolo Federal Credit Union membership by living, working, worshipping or attending school in Yolo, Sacramento, Placer or El Dorado counties in California.
- The credit union assesses your creditworthiness using factors such as your debt compared with income, credit history and employment. This determines your rate and term.
