Get a $50 electricity bill credit for a new residential electric lawnmower if you are a VEC member.

The residential lawnmower credit helps VEC members choose electric equipment that reduces fossil-fuel use. It is a one-time $50 credit on your electricity bill for a new corded or cordless mower.
Eligibility
- You must be a VEC member. The credit covers new corded or cordless residential electric lawnmowers purchased on or after 5 May 2019.
- Commercial mowers used by a lawn-care business, state agency or campus institution such as a hospital or university fall under a separate incentive. VEC incentives cannot be combined.
- The claim form requires a household-income answer for state reporting. Your answer does not affect eligibility for this credit.
- Joining VEC’s time-of-use electricity-rate pilot is optional.

Complete VEC’s residential electric lawnmower incentive form and upload your purchase receipt. Supply your account number, contact and service-address details, and the mower’s make, model and serial number.
By submitting the form, you agree that VEC may share the information with state regulators and their contractors for programme evaluation.
