Energy and climate grants
Households in Nassereith can receive a rebate when replacing an old fridge, freezer, dishwasher or washing machine with an energy-efficient model.

The municipality’s energy and climate programme includes help to replace household appliances. This entry covers that appliance replacement route: a grant of 10% of the appliance price, up to €100 per device. Transport and other costs are excluded. Only one device per household can be funded each year.
All nine measures in the municipal programme share an annual €6,000 budget. Payments follow application order until that budget is exhausted. The support is voluntary, subject to the municipality’s available budget, and there is no legal entitlement to a grant.
Eligibility
- Install and use the replacement in a house, flat or household in Nassereith that is regularly occupied as a main residence.
- Eligible replacements are fridges, freezers, combined fridge-freezers, dishwashers and washing machines. Initial household equipment is excluded: an old appliance must be disposed of properly.
- The new device must have a better energy-efficiency class than the old device and be at least class B (formerly A+++) or an at least equivalent successor designation. If the old device already belongs to that efficiency class, it must have reached the end of its useful life, assessed and confirmed by a specialist business.
- Return the old appliance to the specialist retailer, or take it to the Nassereith recycling centre and obtain a receipt.
- Use the grant for its specified purpose. The municipality may revoke or reclaim it if you supplied incorrect information or concealed material facts to obtain it.

- Apply within six months of purchase. Payments follow application order until the shared annual €6,000 programme budget is exhausted.
Submit the municipal application to Gemeinde Nassereith within six months of buying the appliance; the invoice must be no more than six months old when you apply. The grant is calculated from the appliance price shown on the invoice.
