Efficient household appliance grant

ThurplusSvájc

Grants of CHF 50–100 per appliance help Thurplus electricity customers replace older household appliances in Frauenfeld.

Ez a lehetőség jelenleg angolul érhető el.

Thurplus funds replacement appliances and Topten processes claims and pays the grant into your account. The amounts below are per eligible device, excluding VAT.

  • Tumble dryers for households/single-family homes: CHF 100 for class A or CHF 70 for B.
  • Washer-dryers, refrigerators, fridge-freezers, upright freezers and chest freezers: CHF 100 for A, CHF 70 for B or CHF 50 for C.
  • Dishwashers: CHF 70 for A or CHF 50 for B.
  • Extractor hoods: CHF 70 for A+++, or CHF 50 for A++ or A+.

You can claim for each eligible appliance you replace. There is no legal entitlement to a grant, and Thurplus may change or end the programme at any time.

Eligibility

You must be a Thurplus electricity customer. Individuals, businesses and property managers can qualify. Install the replacement in the Thurplus electricity supply area within the City of Frauenfeld.

  • Choose an eligible appliance from the Topten product lists. Foodcenter refrigerators and fridge-freezers are excluded.
  • Buy after the programme started on 1 May 2026 and replace an older appliance at the same location. First-time purchases without an old appliance to replace are excluded.
  • Dispose of the old appliance professionally; it must not continue to be used in Switzerland.
  • Double funding is prohibited. Your claim must be complete and accurate; incomplete or incorrectly completed applications are rejected. The rates and conditions in force when you purchase or order apply.

Grants obtained through false or incomplete information may be reclaimed and must be repaid. Applicants may also be excluded from this and other efficient-appliance measures.

You must allow Topten or Thurplus staff access to the funded appliances for spot checks. You assign the energy-saving credit for the replacement exclusively to Thurplus, which may count it under Article 46b of the Energy Act or transfer it to another party for that purpose.

The Swiss Federal Office of Energy (BFE) can check compliance. Data may be shared with BFE or its appointed office for those checks; the submitted customer data is treated confidentially and used only to verify compliance.

Az adott pályázati kör feltételei
  • Claim within six months of the order date for an eligible replacement bought after the programme started on 1 May 2026.
  • Thurplus may change or end the programme at any time.

Choose a qualifying model through the Topten lists, replace and dispose of the old appliance, then apply through the Topten online form. Upload an invoice showing the purchase/order date, net price and delivery address.

Submit within six months of the order date. The order date controls the deadline even if delivery and payment occur later. Applications have been accepted since 1 May 2026; late claims are not approved. Payment goes to your stated account after approval. Decisions are final, with no appeal route under the programme.

If a registered Topten installer or delivery partner has already deducted the grant directly from your invoice, no separate claim is needed. Do not claim it again.
