Green loan
Borrow £4,000–£40,000 for energy-efficient projects if you are an adult member of Waterside Credit Union, whose membership is open to people living or working in BT47 or BT48.
Ez a lehetőség jelenleg angolul érhető el.
The Green Loan lends money for energy-efficient projects. You repay the amount borrowed with interest; the published annual percentage rate (APR) is 7.22%. This loan does not qualify for an interest rebate, and you must repay it by your 85th birthday.
General loan repayment periods range from one month to ten years, depending on the purpose of the loan. Choose a period you can afford: a longer period means paying more interest overall. You can pay off your loan early without a penalty.
Missing payments can affect your credit score and may lead to additional fees or legal action.
Eligibility
You must be a credit union member aged 18 or older. To join as a new member, you must live or work in the BT47 or BT48 postcode areas, pay a £1 entrance fee and keep a minimum balance of £10.
Every loan application is assessed and may be declined. Proof of income, a guarantor or other conditions may be required.
If your existing shares or savings are equal to or less than the loan amount when it is approved, they are held as security for the loan and cannot be withdrawn. Savings you deposit after the loan is granted may be withdrawn provided the loan is not in arrears, meaning you have not fallen behind on repayments.
