Eco-responsible home renovation loan
A fixed-rate personal loan for individuals planning home energy improvements, including insulation, solar panels and more efficient heating.

Borrow €4,001–€75,000 for renewable energy equipment or energy renovation. Examples include photovoltaic panels, heat pumps, solar water heaters, energy-storage batteries, insulation, windows, doors, heating controls and electric vehicle chargers. Heating and air-conditioning equipment in the listed renovation category must be class A or B. This is a personal loan: you receive borrowed money and repay it with interest, without having to justify how you spend the funds.
Repayment lasts 6–96 months for borrowing up to €20,000, with a maximum of 120 months above €20,000. The annual percentage rate (TAEG) is fixed when you sign, and there is no arrangement fee. The simulation shows the monthly payment; check the offer’s total cost before signing.
From €10,000 borrowed, you can choose to reduce the first six monthly payments by up to half. This increases the total amount repayable. After a partial early repayment under this option, the remaining payments are recalculated to equal amounts.
You may request up to two payment deferrals a year if your repayments are up to date, subject to the contract. The fee is 4% of the deferred instalments. From the sixth repayment month, changing your monthly payment requires lender approval: it cannot rise above three times the original payment, fall by more than 30%, or fall below €50. If your repayments are up to date, you can choose a debit date between the 1st and 28th of the month.
You can repay some or all of the loan early. Early repayments of €10,000 or less are free; for larger repayments, the contract sets the conditions. A partial repayment can shorten the term while retaining the monthly amount, or reduce the monthly amount while retaining the term.
Eligibility
The offer is for individuals financing energy improvements to a home. Credit consolidation is excluded. BNP Paribas Personal Finance, which operates the Cetelem brand, assesses and must approve your application.
Provide valid identification, bank account details (RIB), proof of address less than six months old and proof of income to finalise the online application.

Start with Cetelem’s online simulator, enter the amount and repayment duration for your renovation project, and complete the credit application. An initial response is conditional on meeting the acceptance criteria. Upload your documents and sign electronically; the subscription FAQ also offers downloading and printing the contract.
After the lender studies the complete signed application and gives final approval, the money is paid directly into your bank account, no earlier than the eighth day after you accept the contract. You have 14 calendar days from signing the offer to withdraw without giving a reason.
