Municipal sustainable development fund
Residents and businesses in Ecublens can receive CHF 1,500 towards a new fully electric car.
Ez a lehetőség jelenleg angolul érhető el.
The municipal fund supports measures that reduce energy use, encourage renewable energy and develop sustainable mobility. This entry covers its grant for new 100% electric cars, including cars obtained through leasing.
The car grant is a flat CHF 1,500. Municipal grants can generally be combined with each other and with cantonal or federal grants unless stated otherwise, but combined municipal support for the same object cannot exceed CHF 30,000. Awards depend on available funds and the annual municipal budget. Applications received after that budget is exhausted enter a waiting list for funding in later years, in order of receipt.
Eligibility
- The project must be in Ecublens. The electric-car route is for inhabitants and businesses; the Canton and Confederation are excluded.
- Buy a new, fully electric car from a dealer located and registered in Switzerland. Leasing is accepted for cars.
- Residents can receive one car subsidy every five years. Businesses can receive one subsidy per five employees, up to five subsidies every ten years, for cars or utility vehicles.
- Your project must meet a fund objective, involve your own contribution in money or time, identify its expected results and allow those results to be checked.
- The municipality may request further documents and carry out checks after the purchase. If checks cannot take place because of the applicant, it may revoke all or part of the promised aid. Support received improperly must be repaid.
- A funded project may be used to promote the fund, but your identity cannot be disclosed without consent. When communicating or presenting the project to others, explicitly acknowledge the municipal fund’s financial support using the wording suggested in the regulation.
