Residential energy-efficiency rebates
A $40 rebate per qualifying exterior door for residential electric customers replacing doors in homes heated mainly with electricity.
Ez a lehetőség jelenleg angolul érhető el.
Replace an exterior door that does not adequately prevent heat loss (described as “thermally substandard” in the programme standards) with an ENERGY STAR-labelled exterior door and receive $40 per qualifying door. The replacement must include the door threshold. This entry covers the programme’s exterior-door rebate.
The rebate is a limited offer subject to available funds.
Eligibility
- You must be a Kittitas PUD electric utility customer, installing the door at your residential service address in its Washington service territory.
- Your home must be heated primarily with electricity. Garage doors and doors in an unheated garage do not qualify.
- Replace an exterior door that does not adequately prevent heat loss (described as “thermally substandard” in the programme standards) with an ENERGY STAR-labelled exterior door with an R-value greater than 5. R-value describes resistance to heat passing through the door; check the replacement’s rating against this threshold. Replace the door threshold too.
