Member heat-pump rebates
Rebates of $200 for an air-source heat pump or $300 for a geothermal heat pump help cooperative members install their primary heating system.

The rebate covers an air-source or geothermal heat pump installed as your main source of heat. An air-source unit must form part of a whole-house central heating and cooling system. The request form covers installations in new homes and replacements of gas, propane, electric furnace or electric baseboard heating.
The air-source rebate is $200 and the geothermal rebate is $300. Combined incentives cannot exceed $500 per service location. Allow two billing cycles for the incentive to be issued.
Eligibility
- You must be the Menard Electric Cooperative member who initially installs the equipment at the service location. Incentives are available once per service location.
- The installation must be at a location served by the cooperative. Its territory covers parts of Cass, Logan, Macon, Mason, Menard, Morgan, Sangamon and Tazewell counties in Illinois.
- Either heat pump must be your primary heating source. An air-source heat pump must also be part of a whole-house central heating and cooling system.
- Request the incentive within 12 months of the purchase date.
The cooperative states that additional restrictions may apply.

Submit the Rebate Request form on Menard Electric Cooperative’s incentives page within 12 months of purchase. Enter your member and contact details, select the rebate, and provide the installation date, installation type and contractor details. Confirm that the unit is your primary heat source, complete the CAPTCHA and submit the form.
