Home energy measures grant
A grant helps owner-occupiers in Purmerend pay for insulation in an existing home.
Ez a lehetőség jelenleg angolul érhető el.
This entry covers insulation installed by a contractor. You can receive up to €2,500 per address across applications. For each insulation measure, the grant is the lower of 25% of actual eligible costs, including VAT, and the applicable amount per square metre.
The square-metre ceilings are €15 for roof insulation, €11.50 for floor insulation, €8.50 for cavity walls, €16.50 for panels and €36.50 for solid walls. The highest rate therefore applies to solid-wall insulation; the overall €2,500 address limit still applies. You may combine the municipal grant with the national ISDE subsidy.
Eligibility
- You must own and live in an existing private home in Purmerend. The home must not belong to a VvE (an owners’ association). Recreational homes and work on an extension are excluded.
- For the insulation described here, your home must have energy label B, C, D, E, F or G. If it has no label, it must have been built before 2002.
- The insulation material must achieve thermal resistance Rd of at least 3.5 m²K/W, except cavity-wall insulation, which needs at least 1.1 m²K/W. Rd measures resistance to heat passing through the material; your contractor must document compliance.
- If your address has already received the full €2,500, you must wait three full calendar years before receiving a new grant.
- Do not start work before the grant is awarded. Obtain any necessary permits before work begins. External solid-wall insulation requires an environmental permit and must be carried out professionally.
- Before cavity-wall insulation, the cavity must be checked for suitability. For cavity-wall insulation, the city ecologist checks the risk to bats and nearby alternative habitats after your application. Wait for written municipal permission and use a certified contractor affiliated with VENIN or Insula. Cavity-wall and external roof insulation cannot take place during the winter and maternity periods. Facade insulation must also take place outside the maternity period. Cavity-wall and facade insulation carried out during the breeding season receives no subsidy.
