Personal solar loan
Borrow up to $40,000 for solar panels at home with no down payment required.
Ez a lehetőség jelenleg angolul érhető el.
Affinity Plus lends money for a home solar installation through its personal secured solar loan. Secured means an asset is pledged to the lender to back repayment. You borrow the money and repay it with interest over 5, 10 or 15 years. The rate is fixed, and there is no penalty for repaying early.
The loan can provide up to $40,000 without a down payment. Approval is required, and your rate depends on your payment and credit history; the lender publishes a maximum annual percentage rate (APR) of 18%.
Eligibility
- You must be a new or existing Affinity Plus member, and the loan must be approved.
- You can qualify through a relative or roommate who is eligible or already a member, or make a one-time $25 dues payment to the Affinity Plus Foundation.
- Membership requires a Membership Savings account with a $10 minimum balance, representing your share in the credit union.
- The online membership application is for U.S. citizens and permanent residents over 18. Other people interested in joining can contact Affinity Plus for help opening an account.
- Opening an account or taking out a loan requires a credit-report check for identity and approval. Temporarily release any credit freeze before applying.
