DIY home insulation subsidy

Municipality of LeudalPaesi Bassi250–1,5K EUR

A grant for owner-occupiers in Leudal to buy materials for installing internal roof or floor insulation themselves.

Questa opportunità è attualmente disponibile in inglese.

This municipal grant covers new, unused insulation and necessary fixing materials for the existing parts of your home. For the base award covered here, it pays 100% of eligible material costs, including VAT, from €250 up to €1,500 per home. Your own working hours, installation by a company, secondhand materials, structural materials and general finishing materials are excluded.

You must install the insulation yourself and carry out the work properly. Internal roof insulation and (attic)floor insulation must have an Rd value of at least 3.5 m²K/W: the material’s resistance to heat flow, as stated by its supplier. Only work carried out from 1 September 2025 qualifies.

You may combine this grant with other subsidies, but support is calculated from costs you actually paid. Funding depends on the remaining €226,000 scheme budget.

Eligibility

  • You must own an existing house in Leudal and live there as your main residence. Apartments, houseboats and caravans do not qualify.
  • The covered homes have energy label D, E, F or G and a WOZ value for reference year 2022 strictly below €477,000. WOZ is the municipal assessed property value; provide that value in your application.
  • Your home must have a residential designation or permission for residential use, rather than a recreational designation. It must not be for sale when you apply or be put up for sale before the work is completed.
  • Only insulation of existing parts qualifies; work on a new extension, additional storey or dormer is excluded. When a project combines existing and new parts, separate their costs in quotations and invoices.
  • Your address must not already have received this municipal grant. The requested subsidy must be at least €250, and your information must be correct.
  • The work must be lawful, compatible with municipal policy and need the subsidy. The municipality may refuse profit-making activities or withdraw or change an award if the general refusal grounds later apply.
