Use the loan for an investment that can reduce your home’s energy consumption. Examples include extra insulation, replacement windows or household appliances, shares in wind power, and heating systems using district or local heating or pellets.
You repay the borrowed money with interest. The published variable interest rate is 4.90%, last changed on 3 October 2025. Repayment takes 1–12 years, depending on the loan’s amount and purpose. The setup fee is SEK 550, waived for customers with the bank’s Nyckelkund customer package. Electronic invoices cost SEK 0; postal invoices cost SEK 45. To make an extra repayment or settle the loan early, contact the bank by phone or visit a branch.
Eligibility
You must be a Sala Sparbank customer; new customers can join using Mobile BankID or get help by phone or at a branch, then apply.
- Your investment must be able to reduce energy use in your home.
- You must be at least 18 and have regular income that is not benefits, student finance or similar payments.
- Your finances must leave room to pay the loan’s costs, and you must have no recorded payment defaults.
