Green loan

SWK BankGermania7,5–100K EUR

Borrow €7,500–€100,000 for new or used rooftop solar panels and battery storage, with no land-register charge, if you meet the personal income and credit requirements.

Questa opportunità è attualmente disponibile in inglese.

Use the Ökokredit from SWK Bank to finance a rooftop photovoltaic system, which generates electricity from sunlight, and associated battery storage. Used photovoltaic systems and VAT can also be financed. You do not have to own the property, and SWK does not require a charge to be entered against it in the land register.

Choose a loan of €7,500–€100,000 for 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96, 108 or 120 months. Published effective annual interest rates are 5.29%–8.29%, with nominal rates of 5.17%–7.99%. SWK calculates your individual offer from your application.

SWK pays the loan directly to your account after a positive final assessment. You repay the borrowed money and interest through monthly payments, collected on the 1st or 15th of the month. Quarterly payments are not offered. Free extra repayments are possible.

As a representative example, a €10,000 loan over 84 months at 5.39% effective annual interest and a fixed nominal rate of 5.26% has 83 monthly payments of €142.70 and a final payment of €133.68. The total repaid is €11,977.78, including €1,977.78 in interest. This is an example, rather than your individual quote.

Eligibility

You must be an adult acting in your own economic interest. You need permanent employment that has not been terminated, or a pension awarded for an indefinite period, and monthly net income of at least €1,500. You must agree to credit checks with Schufa and CRIF; SWK makes the final lending decision after checking your complete documents.

Self-employed people, freelancers and people receiving benefits that replace earned income cannot currently obtain this loan. A second borrower is not generally required, although SWK says applying with a partner can improve the chance of approval and the monthly amount you can afford.
