Sparkasse Hamm pays the loan into your current account in one sum. You repay the borrowed money with interest; the bank’s published example uses monthly instalments. Choose a term of 10 or 15 years, with the interest rate fixed throughout. The published starting rates are 4.20% nominal interest and 4.28% effective annual interest, dated 17 August 2026. These are starting rates, rather than a guaranteed rate for every borrower. Early repayment is free.
The loan can be combined with currently available BAFA and KfW grants. KreditSchutz insurance is optional.
Eligibility
- You must be a current or future property owner and be creditworthy, meaning the bank must accept your ability to repay.
- The work must be an energy renovation of your own residential property. Both owner-occupied and rented-out homes qualify.
- Energy-efficiency improvements do not have to meet a KfW standard. The product also covers replacement heating systems and photovoltaic installations.
- Borrow between €10,000 and €100,000. A cost estimate is sufficient; the bank does not require a land charge securing the loan against your property or a land-register entry.
- You can apply after the renovation has started.
