Vivienda Verde finances home solar systems. BAC includes the system’s value in the property valuation. You borrow the money and repay it in instalments over a term of up to 30 years; the minimum loan is US$5,000.
Eligibility
You must meet these published requirements:
- Have income of at least US$800 or the equivalent in lempiras, and open a BAC savings or checking account.
- Obtain a quotation or pro forma invoice from Jestereo, Solaris or Techsol.
- Provide a copy of your national identity document (DNI), and copies of the tax registration number (RTN) and employment certificate for you and your spouse.
- Provide a copy of the deed for the property pledged as collateral, with full ownership title (dominio pleno). Include the property owner’s identity document and RTN, and the latest paid property-tax receipt.
