Solar finance

Sindh BankPakistan

Borrow for a complete 1–400 kW solar installation for your home, business or farm, with a minimum 15% down payment.

Questa opportunità è attualmente disponibile in inglese.

The loan finances a complete solar setup, including panels, frames, structures, accessories and equipment. Both systems connected to the electricity grid and independent systems are available.

Salaried individuals can borrow PKR 100,000–5 million. Self-employed professionals, self-employed business owners and agricultural borrowers can borrow PKR 100,000–20 million. For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the bank decides the amount from the borrower’s financial strength and approval terms, up to PKR 100 million.

You contribute at least 15% of the solar system’s cost as a down payment. The bank charges markup (interest) on the financing. Repay the borrowing in monthly, quarterly or half-yearly instalments over a term of up to seven years. Partial and early repayment are allowed.

Eligibility

  • Individuals, SMEs and agricultural borrowers are eligible. You must be a Pakistani or AJK citizen and hold a valid Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC).
  • The premises where the solar system will be installed must be owned. You need an account with Sindh Bank and clean results from the bank’s credit-history checks (ECIB, CCIB and Data Check).
  • Salaried applicants must be no older than 60 when the loan finishes. For self-employed professionals and business owners, the limit is 65. SME and agricultural applicants’ age conditions depend on bank policy and approval terms.
  • A consumer co-borrower must be a close blood relative, such as a parent or sibling, or your spouse. For SME and agricultural borrowing, partners, directors and shareholders can be co-borrowers. When a property owner is included as co-borrower solely because they own the premises, no maximum age applies to that co-borrower.
