Renewable-energy instalment loan
Finance solar panels, energy storage or heat pumps and their installation for private use in Poland, through participating retailers.
Questa opportunità è attualmente disponibile in inglese.
Raty OZE z EBI finances the purchase and installation of solar panels, energy storage and heat pumps. European Investment Bank support lets Santander Consumer Bank offer fixed or variable interest below its standard instalment-loan offer. You must declare the renewable-energy purpose and borrow for at least two years.
You can finance up to PLN 80,000 of the purchased goods, with repayment over up to 120 months. No own contribution is required. Depending on the retailer’s offer, the first instalment can be delayed by up to three months for purchases worth up to PLN 30,000. The bank decides whether to lend and on what terms after assessing your circumstances.
You repay the borrowed amount, interest and any selected additional-service fees in monthly instalments. For variable-rate loans, interest is the National Bank of Poland reference rate plus the bank’s contractual margin; instalments can change as the reference rate changes. Interest cannot exceed the statutory maximum or fall below zero. Optional service packages are charged with each instalment. If you cancel a package, the final fee is charged on the next instalment date and its services end. You can pay by transfer to the account in your agreement, quoting the 12-digit agreement number; the agreement contains the repayment schedule.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18, have full legal capacity, a PESEL personal identification number, an accepted identity document, and permanent or temporary registered residence in Poland. The purchase must be for private purposes. You must document your identity and regular income accepted by the bank, paid under an income arrangement in PLN. You must not be in a notice period or undergoing restructuring or insolvency proceedings.
- Employment income requires at least six months of continuous documented income. If your employer is a relative or shares your household, salary payments into your bank account are required. Sickness or rehabilitation benefits can cover no more than three of those six months. For maternity, paternity or parental benefits received for less than six months, combine benefit records with employment-income records to cover six months.
- Pensions can be documented with six months of payment records or the bank’s accepted award, adjustment or other benefit documents. For care or support benefits, the bank lists payment records or a certificate covering at least the last six months. Insurance-company and employer pensions each require confirmation of the awarded pension plus the last six payment records.
- Business and farm income require at least 24 months of operation and documented income. For business income, the bank requires Polish accounting documents showing PLN income. It may also request tax and social-insurance clearance certificates. Sickness or rehabilitation benefits may cover at most 12 of the last 24 months; maternity, paternity or parental benefits require benefit records together with business or farm-income evidence.
- Other primary income, such as contracts for work or services outside employment, or private rent, has its own accepted-document alternatives. Employment-type or contract income documentation covers the last six months; private rent can instead use the lease plus tax-payment evidence, rent receipts, or the accepted prior-year tax return. For agricultural land leases, rent receipts are not an accepted alternative; use the lease with one of the other listed forms of evidence. For income from these work or service contracts, sickness or rehabilitation benefit records may cover no more than three of the last six months and must be combined with income records. Maternity, paternity or parental benefits also require income records; if received for less than six months, combine records to cover six months. Accepted prior-year tax returns are usable only until 31 March of the current year. Regular additional income can supplement a primary source if it falls within the documented income period, up to 12 months; the bank’s benefit-document routes require at least six months. See the bank’s document list for the route applying to your income.
- Polish citizens can use an identity card; mDowód is accepted only for in-person applications. Non-EU nationals use a residence card; non-EU family members of EU citizens can also use a family-member residence card. EU citizens resident in Poland provide residence-registration or permanent-residence confirmation together with a passport or ID card. Online EU applications require residence-registration confirmation with the passport or ID card, and the bank may request scans of both. If you have separate marital property, the bank may request a notarial deed or final court decision confirming it.
- For EIB-supported financing, the bank screens the purchase against EIB exclusions and environmental requirements. The financed work must comply with applicable Polish and EU law.
