You can claim a rebate for a qualifying base high-efficiency ductless air source heat pump. These systems heat and cool your home by transferring heat.
The cooperative publishes a ductless rebate range of $300–$500. The payment cannot exceed 50% of your project cost, so the cost ceiling can reduce the rebate below the published range. Ask the cooperative to confirm the qualifying amount for your equipment.
Eligibility
- You must be a cooperative member with a valid Kandiyohi Power Cooperative account. The form includes homeowners, renters, landlords, builders and other member types.
- Install the heat pump within the cooperative’s service territory, at the valid account address declared on your signed claim.
- The base ductless system must have a capacity of no more than 1 ton, a seasonal cooling efficiency rating of at least 14.3 SEER2 and a heating efficiency rating of at least 7.5 HSPF2. SEER2 measures seasonal cooling efficiency; HSPF2 measures heating efficiency. A higher HSPF2 rating means greater heating efficiency. The application asks for the outdoor-unit and indoor-unit model numbers and quantities.

- Call the cooperative to verify programme status and qualifying amount; the programme may change or be cancelled without notice.
Call Kandiyohi Power Cooperative on 800-551-4951 to verify that the rebate programme is still available, confirm the qualifying rebate amount and arrange submission. The programme can change or be cancelled without notice.
Complete and sign the 2026 heating and cooling rebate form, certifying that the product qualifies and is installed at your valid cooperative account address. Include a copy of the original dated sales receipt. Submit the completed form and receipt copy within 90 days of purchase and within 90 days of installation.
