Sparkasse EMDEN lends €10,000–€100,000 for new installations and energy improvements in company buildings. The term is up to ten years and follows the investment’s depreciation or useful life; the interest rate can be fixed for up to ten years.
You repay the borrowed money with interest through monthly instalments. Published rates start at 4.75% nominal fixed interest and 4.86% effective annual interest. Your terms depend on creditworthiness, loan amount and term. The bank’s separate representative example uses 4.85% effective annual interest: a €15,000 loan over 120 months has monthly payments of €157.34, a final payment of €146.83 and a total repayment of €18,874.25. Eligibility
Your company’s investment must concern new installations or energy improvements in its business building, such as windows, heating, heat pumps, solar electricity generation or insulation.
The product has no additional origination commission or financing incidental costs and requires no additional land-register security. Companies that are legal entities must provide a shareholder guarantee: a shareholder guarantees the company’s loan obligations.
Under the bank’s general terms, it may require new or stronger security if later events or information change the risk, for example deterioration in the borrower’s or guarantor’s finances or in the value of existing security.
