Rainwater collector grant
Residents of Entre Bièvre et Rhône can receive up to €100 towards a new rainwater tank for outdoor use, bought from a shop in the territory.
Denne finansieringsmuligheten er foreløpig beskrevet på engelsk.
The grant helps households save drinking water and adapt to climate-related pressure on water resources. It supports rainwater collection for outdoor tasks such as watering the garden or cleaning equipment.
Eaux d’Entre Bièvre et Rhône pays up to 50% of the tank’s purchase price including VAT, capped at €100 per household. Delivery, works, accessories and installation costs are excluded. Awards are made in order of arrival while allocated funds remain, and paid once into the beneficiary’s bank account.
Eligibility
- You must be an individual occupying a home in one of the 37 communes of the Communauté de communes Entre Bièvre et Rhône, as an owner or tenant. Each household can receive the aid only once. Tenants must leave the equipment in place when moving out.
- Buy a new, hermetically closed tank with a capacity strictly greater than 200 litres. It must be bought from a physical shop in the territory; internet orders are excluded. The paid invoice must date from 1 January to 31 December 2026 inclusive.
- Use the collected water outdoors only and comply with the authority’s sanitation rules. In areas with separate sewers, roof and paved-area runoff must not enter the wastewater pipes. Roof water may be admitted into a combined sewer. Direct connections between drinking-water pipes and wastewater installations are prohibited.
- By signing the declaration, you confirm the accuracy of your file, accept the rules, promise to receive only one subsidy under this scheme and follow installation and management good practice. You must not change the equipment’s intended use, including by changing its technical characteristics. Supply proof that you still possess it if requested, and repay the grant if you resell it. False declarations and misuse can lead to sanctions.
- Where the sanitation rules apply to private wastewater installations, you must allow the service’s inspections. Noncompliant discharges can result in testing costs charged to the user and enforcement measures.
