EcoWohnen finances energy-efficient modernization of existing properties, including insulation, replacement windows and climate-friendly heating. The bank lends up to €50,000, with no land-charge registration and no processing fee.
The bank advertises constant instalments and interest-rate protection for ten years. Its representative ten-year example pays out the full €30,000 loan and shows a fixed annual borrowing rate of 3.65%, an annual percentage rate (APR, the annual cost of borrowing) of 3.71%, initial monthly repayments of €300 and a final payment of €122.21. You repay €35,822.21 in total, including the amount borrowed and interest. Your rate depends on the loan term, amount and creditworthiness, and may change before agreement.
Eligibility
You must own the property and provide a current land-register extract showing your ownership. You also need information about the planned sustainable improvement, such as a quotation.
The published loan-term range is three to fifteen years. The bank’s quoted repayment example is for a ten-year loan, with the rate fixed for those ten years.
