Borrow AU$2,100–50,000 for a home solar system, with a repayment term of six months to seven years. This is a loan you repay with interest.
The fixed annual interest rate for terms up to five years ranges from 9.49% to 19.49%. The lowest rate requires an outstanding credit rating and financial position; terms longer than five years have a higher rate. Your rate depends on your credit history, finances, loan purpose, amount and term. The calculator gives an estimate; your loan offer contains the applicable terms and charges.
Choose weekly, fortnightly or monthly repayments. Alex.Bank lists no establishment, monthly account, early repayment or late payment fees for this unsecured loan, and you can repay the entire loan early without an extra fee. Its fee guide allows legal costs charged at cost if a default leads to a notice or legal action; actual fees can vary by application and change over time. If you make extra repayments, you cannot withdraw that money again later.
Eligibility
- You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, over 18, receiving a regular income and have never declared bankruptcy.
- The purchase must be a home solar system, including solar panels, batteries and installation.
- Apply in your individual name; joint applications are not accepted.
- Alex.Bank accepts applications only from people with a credit score above average, and approval remains subject to its credit assessment.
- You need a current Australian driver’s licence or Australian passport that can be verified digitally.
