Small Grants Programme
Grants of up to USD 75,000 for community-based organisations and NGOs applying through their participating country's programme to run local climate and environmental projects.

Fund a community-led project that cuts emissions or strengthens resilience. Climate work can include renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable transport, land-use improvements and measures that help communities cope with severe climate events.
Regular grants are usually USD 25,000–50,000 and cannot exceed USD 75,000.
Eligibility
Community-based organisations and NGOs from a participating programme country can apply directly through that country's programme. The proposal must meet GEF Small Grants Programme criteria and the priorities in the country programme strategy.
Calls and detailed rules are set by each participating country programme. A climate proposal must show how its objectives and activities contribute to the programme's climate area of work.

Find your national programme and its current call. Submit a short concept to the National Coordinator. If the concept is eligible, prepare the full proposal for review by the country's National Steering Committee.
