Energy loan for businesses and housing associations
Loans for property-owning businesses and associations to pay for energy improvements, with invoices required before the bank pays out the money.
Denne finansieringsmuligheten er foreløpig beskrevet på engelsk.
You can borrow for both materials and labour for the following property improvements:
- Windows and doors with a U-value of 1.1 or lower; this value measures heat transfer through the window or door.
- Insulation of the attic, façade or roof.
- Ground-source, soil-source, air-source, air-to-water and exhaust-air heat pumps; heat recovery, including ventilation that recovers heat from outgoing air (FTX); district heating and cooling.
- Solar panels, solar thermal collectors and solar batteries.
- LED lighting, including presence controls, and charging points close to the property.
Sala Sparbank sets the loan amount according to your needs, the property’s cash flow and the proportion of its value already borrowed against. It has no fixed minimum or maximum loan amount. In most cases, the property secures the loan through mortgage deeds; the bank’s accepted borrowing level depends partly on the property type.
You pay interest at an individually agreed fixed or variable rate, based partly on cash flow and security. You repay the borrowed principal according to the schedule agreed with the bank. Before it pays out the loan, provide invoices specifying the eligible work. The energy loan adds no further follow-up or reporting requirement beyond those invoices.
Eligibility
- Apply as a representative of a business or association that owns the property. This offer includes housing associations; private consumers have separate loan offers.
- Any property type can qualify if energy-efficiency improvements can be carried out.
- You must already be a bank customer or intend to transfer the property’s financing to Sala Sparbank in connection with the energy renovation.
- Both new and existing customers must pass the bank’s customer checks, so it understands the purpose of the banking relationship and intended transactions. The bank also assesses whether it can approve the credit.
