Incentive payments for commercial and industrial electricity customers replacing or installing efficient equipment in Clark County, Washington.

You can fund equipment or technology that performs above current energy code requirements, including compressed-air, refrigeration and general process system upgrades.
For both commercial and industrial projects, retrofits receive $0.33 per kWh of verified electricity savings, up to 70% of project cost. New construction receives $0.35 per kWh, up to 70% of the incremental cost—the extra cost of choosing the efficient option. Programme requirements and incentive amounts may change.
Eligibility
- You must be a commercial or industrial customer of Clark Public Utilities, and the project must be completed in Clark County, Washington.
- The equipment or technology must exceed current code requirements.
- Contact the utility and obtain approval of your project proposal before purchasing new equipment.

Call Clark Public Utilities on 360-992-3000 and ask to be connected to your assigned business account manager. The manager helps identify suitable improvements and apply for the incentive.
Your proposal must identify the customer and contractor, contacts, project location, planned start and completion dates, and equipment make and model. Include the existing equipment as a baseline, a plan to measure and verify savings (typically two weeks of monitoring before and after installation), the expected equipment life, estimated site energy savings, project or incremental cost, and any increase or decrease in operating and maintenance costs.
Obtain proposal approval before buying equipment. Work with your account manager to measure and verify the energy savings so you can receive the incentive payment.
