Small Business Program
Small businesses can receive free energy-saving products and installation, with an optional contribution covering 70% of material and installation costs for eligible lighting and insulation upgrades.

Efficiency Manitoba delivers the programme through CLEAResult Canada. The Basic Upgrade provides free bathroom and kitchen faucet aerators (tap fittings), pre-rinse spray valves, showerheads and advanced power strips, with free installation. It also includes a free lighting and attic insulation assessment.
The optional Premium Upgrade includes the basic upgrades. For eligible LED tube lamps, specialty LED bulbs, LED exit signs, lighting controls and pitched-roof insulation, the programme covers 70% of material and installation costs. Pitched roofs are sloping roofs. CLEAResult Canada and a local subcontractor install the approved upgrades; the incentive is applied to the project and you pay the remaining balance.
Eligibility
- Your business must be under 15,000 square feet.
- It must not be part of a national franchise or chain.
- It must have ten or fewer locations in Manitoba.
- You must pay an energy bill at a commercial rate.

Use the programme’s contact page to request free upgrades and an assessment. Once your eligibility is verified, CLEAResult Canada contacts you to schedule the Basic Upgrade. A technician installs the free products and assesses your lighting and attic insulation.
You receive a free quote for a Premium Upgrade and decide whether to proceed. If you choose it, the delivery team handles project planning. After Efficiency Manitoba approves the Premium Upgrade application, CLEAResult Canada and a local subcontractor arrange installation. The programme applies its contribution and you are responsible for the remaining balance.
