Nordic Alpha Partners invests money in your company and becomes a part-owner. It takes either a minority stake with control or a majority stake, and works directly with management on growth.
The offer covers energy transition, agriculture, building and construction, industrial process innovation, water and wastewater, and waste reduction and recycling. The investment scope covers Northern and Continental Europe, with a specific target focus on the Nordics and Germany.
Operational involvement starts before investment: management joins a strategy workshop to understand the investor’s tools, followed by creation and implementation of a fuller strategy. Portfolio support includes recruiting and organisational development, legal and compliance expertise, environmental, social and governance work, financial reporting, and help accessing debt financing for growth and equipment investment.
Eligibility
- Your company must be commercially active, with real customers and revenue. Its distinctive technology must enable substantial decarbonisation and be capable of use at industrial scale.
- Founders and management must be willing to pursue strong growth and accept an active investor that works directly on the company’s strategy and operations using its own tools.
- Nordic Alpha avoids heavily subsidised sectors exposed to political changes and prefers industries where demand comes from market forces and expanding markets.
