Green credit
An interest-free, unsecured loan for homeowners in the economic region Zug to replace oil or gas heating with a heat pump or install solar panels.

Borrow CHF 10,000–75,000 for a heat pump replacing oil or gas heating, or a photovoltaic installation. You must contribute at least 25% from your own funds. Pay the project down payment from your own money; the bank pays out the loan when the project is complete.
The loan requires no collateral or mortgage security. Repay the borrowed amount in equal principal instalments over a maximum of eight years. The published minimum contract duration is two years; the bank also expressly allows repayment at any time without an early repayment penalty.
Eligibility
- You must live in the economic region Zug.
- Your mortgage must be with Zuger Kantonalbank. New customers and customers whose mortgage is at another bank can also apply if they state their intention to transfer that mortgage to Zuger Kantonalbank.
- The work must concern your own, owner-occupied home, which you have owned for at least five years. Condominium ownership is excluded.
- Contribute at least 25% from your own funds.

Use the bank’s green-credit calculator and send an enquiry. For a planned heating replacement, submit the completed form together with a quotation; the bank responds with a specific financing proposal. You can contact the bank on 041 709 11 11.
