The loan can finance wall, roof, loft and ground-floor insulation, replacement windows and external doors, an air-to-water heat pump, ground-source or district heating, and solar panels.
Sparekassen Kronjylland lends you money for the improvements, which you repay with interest. The bank states that borrowing can reach 100% of the home’s value. This is a property-value limit. There is a DKK 2,000 setup fee plus land-registration costs.
The bank’s secured-loan example for DKK 200,000 over 20 years shows monthly payments of DKK 1,115 and total repayment of DKK 267,619. The variable annual interest rate before compounding is 2.70%, and the annual percentage rate including costs is 3.1%. These figures illustrate that example.

- The bank must approve you through its ordinary credit assessment.
