Rebates for HPU residential homeowners buying qualifying energy-saving appliances, including clothes washers, dryers and refrigerators.
Ta możliwość jest obecnie dostępna po angielsku.
Hibbing Public Utilities (HPU) offers these appliance rebates through Form #3 on its residential rebate page:
- $35 per ENERGY STAR-certified clothes dryer, clothes washer or dishwasher, and per ENERGY STAR-approved refrigerator or freezer.
- $20 per ENERGY STAR-certified dehumidifier with a Uniform Energy Factor (UEF), the unit’s efficiency rating entered on the form, greater than 2.
- $35 for an ENERGY STAR air purifier, $20 for a Tier II power strip, $10 for an ENERGY STAR ceiling fan, or $20 for an ENERGY STAR ceiling fan with an integral LED light. For these additional items, the rebate cannot exceed 50% of the appliance cost.
Eligibility
You must be an HPU residential customer applying as a homeowner, with your HPU account number and the equipment’s installation address.
- Installation must be complete and the equipment operational before you submit the claim. You certify that your information is accurate and complete and that you have followed the rebate programme’s rules.
- You must allow verification of installation, which may include a site inspection. Each piece of equipment can receive only one rebate from this programme.
- HPUC may reject a claim for work performed by a contractor who has failed to follow the programme’s terms.
- Signing the form releases HPUC from equipment-related claims and makes you responsible for defending it and covering associated claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees. This applies to removal, disposal, installation or operation of the equipment and related materials, including incidental, special or consequential damages.
