You can borrow up to EUR 25,000 alone or EUR 40,000 with a co-applicant, subject to your income and existing debts. Repay over six months to seven years, with interest fixed for the loan term.
The advertised annual interest rate starts at 6.9%; taking SEB loan protection insurance lowers the rate, but adds insurance premiums. Include the insurance premiums when comparing the total cost of borrowing.
The standard agreement fee for this purpose is 1% of the loan amount, with a EUR 50 minimum. SEB advertises a zero agreement fee for all loan purposes in its October–December 2026 campaign; the fee in your offer governs. You also pay the current-account fee. The campaign’s special interest rates cover renovation and car purchases.
Eligibility
- SEB assesses how much you can repay from your income and existing obligations. No collateral or down payment is required.
- Solar panels have a separate loan product.
- You and any co-borrower must have an SEB current account by signing and keep it throughout the loan. SEB may require each borrower’s entire income to be paid into their SEB accounts.
- If you borrow together, each borrower is responsible for repaying the whole loan.
- Monthly payments repay principal and interest. Early repayment has no contractual fee, but you must give ten days’ notice.

Apply through SEB’s product page and select “Improving home energy efficiency” as the purpose. SEB contacts you with an offer or further questions; after a positive credit decision, sign the agreement in the internet bank. Fulfil the contractual preconditions before using the loan; funds are paid into your SEB account.
You can consent to SEB obtaining your income details from the Tax and Customs Board, confirmed through eesti.ee, for a quicker answer.
For an environmentally friendly purchase outside the listed energy measures, select “Other” in the consumer-loan application.
