Customer funding programme: electric cars
Electricity customers can receive €500 towards a new electric car if they keep their electricity supply for five years.

The customer funding programme pays a one-off €500 grant per new electric car for personal mobility. Hybrid vehicles do not qualify.
Eligibility
- You must already have an electricity supply contract with Stadtwerke Sulzbach/Saar GmbH.
- The new car must be first registered for you. You must present the original invoice and the new vehicle’s registration document.
- You must buy electricity from Stadtwerke Sulzbach/Saar GmbH for five years from the grant date. If you switch supplier early, you must repay the grant in proportion to the time remaining.

Download the grant application form and complete your customer and bank details. Attach a copy of the invoice and present the original invoice and the new vehicle’s registration document.
