Energicamente Business
Loans for businesses building renewable-energy plants, with financing up to the full investment cost excluding VAT.
Ta możliwość jest obecnie dostępna po angielsku.
Finance the construction of renewable-energy plants, including solar panels, wind, hydropower and biomass, without an installed-power limit.
Borrow €100,000–€5 million, up to 100% of the investment excluding VAT. A loan secured by a property mortgage is also limited to 80% of the property's collateral value. Loans without a property mortgage run for 19–120 months; mortgage loans run for 19–240 months.
The bank can pay the money at once or in stages as construction progresses. The total term includes any initial period before normal repayment: up to six months for a single payout, or up to 18 months for staged payouts. Repayment instalments can be monthly, quarterly or half-yearly; payments during staged funding are half-yearly and at the end of that phase. Normal instalments repay both the loan and interest, with a growing share repaying the loan over time. Fixed-rate instalments stay constant; variable-rate instalments can change.
Fixed or variable interest is available. Displayed rates in the information sheet are dated calculations; the contract rate depends on market benchmarks at signing. A negative benchmark is treated as zero, so interest cannot fall below the bank's added margin.
The arrangement fee is 1% of money paid out, with a €500 minimum and €15,000 maximum. Independent technical assessment, insurance and any credit-intermediary service bring additional costs. You pay notarial costs for assigning and later returning GSE receivables, and mortgage-registration costs; mortgage loans also require a property valuation. If you choose the substitute tax, 0.25% is deducted from each payout; otherwise ordinary transaction taxes apply.
You may repay part or all of the loan early with at least 15 days' notice, on a day other than a scheduled instalment date. Pay the remaining principal being repaid, accrued charges, unpaid instalments and other sums due. Variable-rate early repayment has no fee; the fixed-rate fee is 1% of the principal repaid early. No early-closure penalty or fee applies when a natural person borrowed to buy or renovate property used for their business or professional activity. Natural persons and micro-enterprises can transfer the loan to another lender without costs, while preserving the old loan's rights and security.
Eligibility
- Sole traders, partnerships and companies can request the loan. Approval depends on the bank's assessment.
- An independent certifying body must assess the plant's authorisations and technical and economic viability. For mortgage loans, the property mortgage is registered for 150% of the loan amount; the bank may request additional security.
- Maintain bank-approved all-risk insurance covering direct and indirect plant damage for the whole loan term, with the bank named as beneficiary and the insured amount agreed with it. Arrange this by the end of staged funding; the bank can make payouts conditional on insurance. Failure to arrange required cover allows the bank to terminate the loan or buy cover and charge you the premiums.
- Mortgage borrowers must also insure the property for fire, explosion and civil liability when the mortgage is granted. Fire/explosion cover must meet the bank's minimum terms, including at least the full rebuilding value from its valuation and continuous cover for the loan term. You can use a qualifying IVASS-registered insurer rather than buy a bank-sold policy. External cover must be endorsed in the bank's favour, and the certificate and endorsement supplied before signing. On a loan transfer, existing cover can continue if it meets the bank's requirements and is endorsed accordingly.
- The bank can require you to assign it payments owed by GSE, the Italian renewable-energy incentive administrator, through a notarised document by the end of staged funding. This assignment is with recourse: you remain responsible if those payments do not cover the debt. Failure to complete an assignment required by the bank can lead to termination. Alternatives are reserved for large producers classed as non-retail customers: assignment of present and future electricity-sale receivables, routing sales revenue through the bank, or other agreed guarantees.

The information sheet allows up to 90 days from the request to contract signing.
