Tynaarlo grants for resident-led energy projects

Gemeente TynaarloHolandiado 12,5 tys. EUR

Nonprofit groups of Tynaarlo residents can receive up to €12,500 for meetings, advice, training and equipment that help local households save energy.

Ta możliwość jest obecnie dostępna po angielsku.

This one-off municipal grant supports resident-led projects that reduce household energy use and bills in Tynaarlo. It can cover meetings and venues, publicity, advisers, coordinators and people managing the project process, training, software licences, thermal cameras, insurance and administration. This entry covers those ordinary activity costs under article 3.1(a–g); the separate annual energy-coach volunteer-payment and training route is outside its scope.

The municipality can fund up to 100% of the costs it considers necessary, with a maximum of €12,500 per application. Its published activity limits are €2,000 for meetings, €1,500 for publicity, €12,500 for advisers, €2,000 for training, €1,000 for software and €4,000 for thermal cameras. These category limits sit within the €12,500 total for this route.

Municipal taxes and fees are excluded. The grant also excludes physical work on the building envelope and building-related heating, insulation, cooling, lighting, storage, hot-water and ventilation measures.

After the activity, report what you did, the results and how you spent the money. The municipality may share this report with other initiatives and impose additional conditions in your award. For an award over €5,000, ask it to determine the final grant within 13 weeks after completing the activities, with an activity report and a statement of related income and expenditure.

Carry out the funded activities and notify the municipality immediately if they or the award conditions cannot be completed. Promptly notify it in writing about ending the activities, dissolving the organization, relevant financial or organizational changes involving third parties, developments affecting compliance, and changes to your statutes concerning legal form, directors or purpose. Get municipal consent before creating or joining a legal entity, changing statutes, taking out credit or loans, giving financial security or guarantees, creating funds or reserves, setting or changing prices for the funded activities, dissolving the entity or filing for bankruptcy or suspension of payments. Consent also covers acquiring, selling or mortgaging registered property and entering or ending related purchase, sale, mortgage, rental or lease agreements where the property or its costs are partly financed by the grant. These are the actions listed in article 4:71 of the General Administrative Law Act.

Eligibility

Apply as a nonprofit group of Tynaarlo residents with a volunteer board that takes responsibility for the work and is accountable to the municipality. You must already have experience mobilizing residents who contribute voluntarily, and involve residents in this project too.

Your project must serve households in Tynaarlo's residential built environment and help them reduce energy use and bills. Show how it contributes to the municipality's 2020–2030 sustainability programme. Coordinate the work at least with the municipality and relevant partners, such as housing associations and network operators.

Commercial activities are refused. For the ordinary activity route described here, an organization cannot apply again if it has already applied under this scheme in the same calendar year.

Activities must generally be accessible to every Tynaarlo resident. Activities solely for members of a church, political party, trade union or comparable association fall outside the general subsidy rules. The municipality can refuse projects that do not sufficiently benefit local residents or fit its policy goals, for efficiency reasons, or if you can pay from your own funds or have funds available from others.
