ECO-GREENER HOME Loan
Borrow for insulation, heat pumps, solar equipment and other home energy improvements as a credit union member in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The loan helps pay for improvements that reduce your home’s carbon footprint and save energy. It covers insulation, geothermal heating, mini-splits and heat pumps, improved heating and cooling systems, solar equipment, and ENERGY STAR efficient windows, doors and appliances.
You borrow at least CAD 1,000 and repay the loan with interest over a term of 1–5 years. The product advertises interest starting at 9.99%; the rates page lists a fixed Greener Home rate of 9.99%, subject to change. Repayment options are flexible, and you can repay early without a prepayment penalty.
Eligibility
This is a personal loan for members improving their homes. Public Service Credit Union membership is open to all residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. For windows, doors and appliances, the listed qualifying option is ENERGY STAR efficient equipment.
