CO2 reduction programme

NeuStadtWerkeAlemanha500 EURencerra 31/12/2026

A €500 grant helps eligible utility customers install heat-recovery ventilation in existing residential buildings or buildings used for charitable purposes.

Esta oportunidade está atualmente disponível em inglês.

This entry covers the ventilation route of the CO2 reduction programme. The system recovers heat from outgoing air to reduce heat loss when ventilating the building. The one-off €500 subsidy includes VAT and is paid into your bank account after the work is completed.

Awards are voluntary and depend on the available 2026 budget of €30,000. Other public funding is allowed, but funding from another energy supplier is excluded.

Eligibility

  • The building must be an existing residential building or a nonresidential building used for charitable purposes, completed by 31 December 2000.
  • You must be a NeuStadtWerke electricity customer and also a gas customer if you can receive gas. If you own the funded property but do not live there, your private home must have electricity and gas supply contracts with the utility.
  • All payments due under your electricity or gas contracts must be settled when the grant decision is made.
  • Owners and nonowners can apply. Nonowners need written owner consent and the ownership evidence. Ventilation is exempt from the general one-building, owner-only and one-programme-per-year restrictions, but this ventilation programme can still be used only once per year.
  • Report material changes after applying without delay. If you switch energy supplier within three years after payment, you must repay a proportional share: 1/36 of the grant for every month of early termination. This also applies if you receive both electricity and gas and switch only one supply, or if eligibility conditions cease to be met.

  • Awards run from 1 January to 31 December 2026 while funds remain. Apply before work starts or an order is placed.

Submit the signed ventilation application and supporting documents by post to Stadtwerke Neustadt a. d. Aisch GmbH, Markgrafenstraße 24, 91413 Neustadt a. d. Aisch, before starting work or placing an order. Download the form, collect it at the office or request it by telephone on 09161 / 785-500.

Include the ventilation data sheet, proof of building age and ownership, charitable status for a nonresidential building and owner consent if you are not the owner.

Wait for the approval letter before work begins. Complete the work and return the utility’s proof form, confirmed by the tradesperson who carried out the work, within eight months of receiving approval. Missing that deadline or making unapproved changes to the work means no subsidy.
