Small solar installation grant
Household electricity customers can receive €75 for an electrician to commission and register a small solar installation of up to 800 W.

The mini-PV route of Energie, Wasser und Mobilität supports small solar installations, including balcony systems. Stadtwerke Marburg pays €75 per installation for professional commissioning and registration.
The installation must enter operation between 1 October 2026 and 31 December 2028. The programme is valid until 31 December 2028; receiving a grant is not a legal entitlement.
Eligibility
- You must be a household electricity customer of Stadtwerke Marburg on a Wahltarif electricity tariff. You must already have held the contract before starting the measure.
- The installation must not exceed 800 W. Use an electrical contractor for commissioning and registration.
- The installation must be used in your household, and the same subsidised measure must not previously have benefited your household.
- You or the property must remain a customer for at least two years after receiving support. If you leave the contract early, you must repay a proportion of the grant. You must allow a household site inspection.

- Open to new eligible claims; the programme is valid until 31 December 2028. Mini-PV commissioning must fall between 1 October 2026 and 31 December 2028.
Contact the Stadtwerke Marburg customer centre for the programme information and help with the form. Submit the completed application with your purchase receipt or invoice, an installation photo and the electrical contractor’s invoice.
Email it to kundenzentrum@swmr.de, deliver it to the customer centre, or post it to Stadtwerke Marburg GmbH, Kundenzentrum, Am Krekel 55, 35039 Marburg. After checking the application, Stadtwerke Marburg transfers the grant to your bank account.
