Energy-efficiency rebates

Laclede Electric CooperativeMissouri

A rebate for eligible cooperative members installing an ENERGY STAR heat-pump water heater in a new or existing home.

Esta oportunidade está atualmente disponível em inglês.

Laclede Electric Cooperative pays back 50% of the cost of a heat-pump water heater, capped at $750 for this equipment. Up to two units per meter can qualify. The cooperative offers these rebates to help members invest in technologies that save energy.

Eligibility

  • You must be a Laclede Electric Cooperative member in good standing. The structure where you reside must be permanent, stand on a permanent foundation, and be on land you own.
  • The eligible electricity service must buy more than 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity from the cooperative each year. Its service territory covers locations in Camden, Dallas, Laclede, Pulaski, Webster and Wright counties in Missouri; membership and service conditions still apply.
  • The new water heater must be ENERGY STAR rated. If it replaces an old unit, the old unit’s efficiency rating must be below 0.9. Replacing a gas water heater with a heat-pump water heater is allowed, but gas and tankless water heaters do not qualify for a rebate.
  • Previously owned, mislabeled or misrepresented equipment is excluded. You must allow the cooperative to control your heating and cooling equipment now or in the future under its load-control programs.
