Nomadic Venture Partners backs technology across mineral discovery, mining operations and recycled materials. Examples include improving the amount of usable material recovered from mining, reprocessing mining waste and reclaiming metals from industrial waste.
For a climate-focused company, the fit is technology that helps cut emissions from mineral production or recovery—not simply any mining investment. NVP identifies decarbonising industry as an investment focus.
This is venture investment, not a grant. With this type of funding, the investor normally provides money in exchange for a share of ownership and an active role in the company.
Eligibility
- Your startup should be in the United States or Canada.
- NVP invests from initial startup funding—pre-seed and seed—through Series A, a funding round that can follow those initial rounds.
- NVP aims to back digital tools and physical technology that improve production speed, costs and environmental sustainability. For physical technology, its stated preference is for “light hardware”. Its portfolio illustrates the technology focus with AI-powered mine-intelligence software and tools for analysing rock characteristics.

Submit your company through the NVP Investment Form. Complete all fields. The investment team reviews submissions and says it will respond if there is a fit; allow at least two weeks for a response. Information is kept confidential within the investment team.
