Energy-efficient clothes dryer rebates
Rebates for SECPA members buying new ENERGY STAR certified electric clothes dryers for their homes.

The 2026 programme pays $30 for an electric resistance clothes dryer or $90 for an electric heat-pump clothes dryer, also described as a ventless dryer. Both must be ENERGY STAR certified.
The rebate is based partly on the product cost you pay. A discounted dryer can receive a smaller rebate; free equipment is ineligible.
Eligibility
- You must be a SECPA member consumer, with the dryer installed at your member account’s service address in SECPA’s certificated Southeast Colorado service territory.
- The dryer must be new and ENERGY STAR certified. Used or refurbished equipment does not qualify.
- Rebates are limited to one per account per year unless the programme specifically states otherwise.
How to apply

- Submit within 90 days of installation.
- A completed application, itemized paid receipt and IRS Form W-9 are required.
- Confirm programme participation and product eligibility with SECPA before purchasing.

After purchase and installation, complete the Energy Star Appliances Rebate form with your member name, account number, installation address and date, dryer manufacturer and model, and ENERGY STAR status. Email the completed application, itemized paid receipt and completed IRS Form W-9 to rebates@secpa.com. The receipt must show the product make and model, associated labour costs, consumer name, date and proof of payment.
Submit your rebate request within 90 days of installation.
