Green energy loan for businesses
A secured loan for businesses and housing companies installing renewable energy or improving energy efficiency in buildings they own.

Use the loan for energy improvements in a building your business owns. Listed measures include added insulation, replacement energy-efficient windows and external doors, efficient lighting, and installation, replacement or repair of heating, ventilation and water-heating systems, including district-heating equipment.
It also covers installation and repair of solar systems, heat pumps that use renewable energy for heating or cooling, heat-recovery systems and wind turbines. Electric-vehicle charging stations must be in the building or its associated parking areas.
You borrow at least €10,000 and provide collateral for the loan. Loans qualifying as green energy loans are offered without the delivery fee in Aktia’s prevailing price list. Pricing for larger projects is agreed individually, and the detailed loan terms are set in the loan negotiation.
Eligibility
- The loan is intended for businesses and work in a business-owned building. Aktia also identifies housing companies improving heating, renewable energy use or insulation as potential users.
- The financed energy renovation must meet Aktia’s criteria, which are based partly on EU taxonomy regulation. Give Aktia the required project information and documentation so it can assess whether the work qualifies; being a listed type of measure does not by itself establish approval.
- Green-loan funds must be used exclusively for the predefined environmentally sustainable project.
