Clean energy business loan
Companies can borrow to connect to a local renewable energy source, with up to 90% of total project costs financed.
Această oportunitate este disponibilă momentan în limba engleză.
The loan supports connecting your company to a local renewable energy source to cover part of its energy use. VÚB can finance up to 90% of total project costs, with repayment over up to eight years.
You repay the money with interest under the loan contract. For a term loan, the bank can pay out the money in one payment or several, and you repay it in instalments or one final payment as agreed. Repaid amounts cannot be borrowed again under that term loan. When you request payment against supplier invoices, the bank normally pays the supplier directly; paying into your company's account requires its express agreement.
The published commercial-loan tariff for euro loans includes these charges. Your loan contract governs if it agrees different fees.
- Arrangement: at least 1% of the loan amount, with a €500 minimum. A fee paid for a binding offer issued within the previous three months is deducted from this charge. For an ordinary business contract, the arrangement charge is payable when you sign, no later than the third following business day.
- Money reserved but not yet paid out under a term or revolving loan: at least 0.7% a year of that unused amount.
- Euro loan account: €8 a month. For a term loan on a separate loan account, monitoring also costs 0.1% of the outstanding principal every three months, with a €100 minimum and €250 maximum. Before the money is paid out, monitoring costs €100 every three months.
- Early repayment of a euro term loan: 3% of the principal repaid early, with a €500 minimum. Refinancing costs—an additional charge calculated from the bank’s funding rates—can also be payable under the general conditions, in addition to the agreed early-repayment fee. The bank provides the amount and calculation on request.
If the agreed interest calculation uses EURIBOR or EURAB3EIRS, the general conditions treat a negative value of that euro benchmark as zero. This is a floor on the benchmark used in the calculation.
Eligibility
The local renewable-source offer is for companies. For loans up to €200,000, VÚB says it requires neither security nor project documentation.
The bank must accept the documents for any conditions that your loan contract requires before paying out the money. The general conditions apply unless you expressly agree otherwise with the bank.
Under those conditions, you need the bank's prior written consent for new borrowing, guarantees and creating security over your assets. Asset disposals also need that consent, except disposals in the ordinary course of business on normal market terms.
Early or extra repayment of a term loan requires prior written consent. Ask for consent at least 15 days in advance; the bank's consent does not itself remove the early-repayment charge unless you agree otherwise.
