Audit-recommended energy efficiency improvements

The rebate covers the cost of recommended improvements, including materials and professional labour, up to $500. The energy audit itself is excluded. Clark Electric Cooperative approves the claim and issues the incentive.
Your audit report must show that the work will reduce electricity or delivered fossil-fuel use, such as propane or heating oil, or improve energy efficiency.
Eligibility
- You must be a cooperative member improving a home or farm on its electricity lines in Wisconsin. Its service territory covers parts of Clark, Chippewa, Jackson, Marathon, Taylor and Wood counties.
- The improvements must be recommended in a comprehensive audit with a written report, arranged by the cooperative or a partner it approves.
- Complete the improvements within 24 months of the audit. Each member account can receive only one audit-improvement incentive every five years, however many audits or measures it undertakes.
- If another incentive is available for an improvement, it qualifies only for that incentive. For example, an audit-recommended ENERGY STAR refrigerator falls under the appliance incentive.
- Purchases must be made in 2026 and installed on the cooperative’s lines.
- Additional eligibility criteria may apply, and the programme may change or be cancelled without notice. Contact the cooperative for details.

Use the audit improvement claim form, complete the member and audit sections, and sign it. Include a receipt or invoice for every improvement, with the purchase price and purchase/installation date circled, a copy of the audit documentation, and evidence that the improvements are complete with their completion date.
Meet both submission deadlines: within three months of purchase and within three months of completing the improvements. The 2026 rebates run through 31 December, subject to funds remaining, so submit promptly.
