Residential energy-efficiency rebates
Electric-account credits for residential cooperative members replacing refrigerators, freezers or central air conditioners with new ENERGY STAR certified products.

Get $100 for a qualifying refrigerator or stand-alone freezer, or up to $150 per qualifying central air-conditioning unit. The rebate is paid as a credit to your Frontier Power electric account. You can receive up to two rebates per appliance type, with a total limit of $700 per residential member home during the July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027 programme year.
Eligibility
- You must be a residential Frontier Power cooperative member replacing an existing appliance. The new product must be purchased and installed in a full-time home served by the cooperative, whose service area covers rural Coshocton, southern Tuscarawas and surrounding Ohio counties.
- Purchase and install the new product between July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027.
- Refrigerators and stand-alone freezers must be ENERGY STAR certified and have a capacity of 10–30 cubic feet. Replace and discard the old refrigerator or freezer.
- Central air conditioners must be ENERGY STAR certified, have a minimum 16 SEER seasonal efficiency rating and stay within the six-ton cooling-capacity cap. Window units are excluded.
- Keep a purchase receipt showing that the product was purchased and installed in the served full-time home. Provide proof of ENERGY STAR certification, such as the yellow Energy Guide label or owner’s manual containing the ENERGY STAR logo or a certification statement.

Applications for the current programme year must be submitted by June 30, 2027. Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis and the offer ends earlier if funds are depleted or the programme is discontinued.
