Orusts Sparbank lends SEK 30,000–350,000 for solar panels without requiring collateral. You repay the money with interest over 1–12 years, depending on the loan’s size and purpose. The published variable interest rate is 3.90%, last changed on 3 October 2025. There is no setup fee; e-invoices are free and paper invoices cost SEK 25 each.
The bank pays the loan into your account after the panels are installed, you have received an invoice and you have signed and returned the loan documents.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 and have regular income that is not benefits, student aid or similar payments.
- Your finances must leave enough room to pay the loan’s costs, and you must have no payment defaults registered against you.
- You need a quotation for solar panels from a solar supplier.
- You must be a bank customer. New customers can join and then apply.

Use the bank’s solar loan page to apply. If you are not a customer, the bank says you can join with Mobile BankID and apply afterwards, or call 0304-345 00 or visit a branch for help. Its new-customer application asks about you and your banking needs; the bank contacts you after reviewing it.
When installation is complete and you have an invoice, contact the bank. It sends loan documents for you to sign and return before paying the loan into your account. For extra payments or early repayment, call the bank or visit a branch.
