Borrow from Banco Promerica Honduras to finance solar panels, lighting, air conditioning, cold rooms, water-saving fixtures, solar water heaters or efficient machinery. The product also lists pellet or gas boilers, gas systems and imports of vehicles, equipment and machinery. These are investment categories on the bank’s table; the gas and import categories are not a promise that every purchase reduces emissions. The programme aims to improve monthly consumption efficiency or savings by 15% and supports energy efficiency and renewable energy.
You repay the loan over the period agreed with the bank. Its published maximum periods are 120 months for solar panels and pellet or gas boilers; 60 months for air conditioning, cold rooms and efficient machinery; 36 months for lighting, water fixtures, solar water heaters and gas systems; and 12 months for imports. The table lists grace periods of up to five months for solar panels and up to three months for air conditioning, cold rooms, boilers and gas systems.
Eligibility
- Your company must have annual sales of at least US$100,000 and at least three years of successful business experience.
- Provide financial statements for the current year and the two previous years, plus the company’s legal documents, including its incorporation deed, tax registration number (RTN) and authority to act for the company.
- Security depends on the case; the bank prefers a mortgage. Banco Promerica may require further information for your application.
