Această oportunitate este disponibilă momentan în limba engleză.
Clean Energy Ventures provides venture capital and receives an ownership stake rather than repayment of a loan. It works with companies from due diligence through growth, including active board participation and support with commercial strategy, hiring and later fundraising.
Its sectors include electricity grids and storage, fuels and energy generation, buildings and cooling, industry, carbon and minerals, materials, transport, and climate adaptation and resilience.
Eligibility
Your company must be raising a Series Seed, Series A or Series B investment round. These are successive venture-capital rounds used to develop and grow a company.
Clean Energy Ventures also looks for:
- a credible, quantified path for the technology to reduce carbon dioxide emissions at multi-gigaton scale within 30 years;
- proven science and a defensible, proprietary improvement in price, speed or performance, with at least seven years of sustainable competitive advantage;
- a target market large enough to support a category-leading business; and
- founders who combine deep technical knowledge with the commercial ability and persistence to take a product from prototype to market.
The sectors include both emissions-reduction technologies and adaptation and resilience. The multi-gigaton emissions test is nevertheless stated as a requirement for the technology.

Submit through Clean Energy Venture Group's online investment portal. The portal accepts companies seeking funding from Clean Energy Venture Group and/or Clean Energy Ventures because the sister organizations share one submission pipeline.
Clean Energy Venture Group's strategic angel investment is a separate offer. Its portal publishes angel criteria focused on companies in the United States and Canada and says it does not typically finance project developers or projects. Those conditions belong to the CEVG angel offer; use Clean Energy Ventures' Investment criteria link for the Seed-to-Series-B mandate described here.
CEV and CEVG say they screen every online submission. Applications that pass the basic pre-screening are reviewed by partners and staff from both organizations.
