Primary Sector Growth Fund
MPI co-investment for New Zealand primary-sector businesses, industry bodies and groups developing innovations with wider benefits for food, fibre and rural communities.
Această oportunitate este disponibilă momentan în limba engleză.
Develop a new product, technology or service, turn by-products into higher-value materials, or test new ways to produce, handle, distribute and market food and fibre. MPI is also accepting feasibility proposals for large or community-scale water storage and distribution that improve farmers' and growers' resilience to climate impacts.
Eligibility
Primary-sector businesses, industry bodies and other groups can submit proposals. The project may have an economic, environmental, social or cultural purpose, but it must create direct economic benefits for New Zealand's wider food and fibre sectors. MPI does not fund work an organization would normally carry out as part of its core business.
MPI normally requires at least NZ$250,000 of government investment matched by at least NZ$375,000 of industry investment, making the standard minimum total project cost NZ$625,000. Where the rationale for government investment is sufficiently compelling, MPI may consider a smaller project by exception.
For a water feasibility project, explain the long-term economic outcomes, how the proposal meets PSGF criteria and how more reliable water would benefit farmers or growers.
