Home Improvement Rebates

Fall River ElectricStatele Unite ale Americii

A rebate of up to $650 for eligible electric-heated homes served by Fall River Electric that install a ductless or ducted mini-split heat pump.

Această oportunitate este disponibilă momentan în limba engleză.

The Home Improvement Rebates programme includes support for replacing electric resistance heating with a qualifying mini-split heat pump. The current claim form lists $650 per eligible home. Only one mini-split heat-pump rebate is allowed per home, regardless of the number of indoor or outdoor units or the home’s floor area.

This entry covers that mini-split route. The rebate is subject to available incentives, which may change at any time.

Eligibility

  • You must be a Fall River Electric member and install the equipment in its service territory. The cooperative serves parts of Fremont, Madison, Jefferson, Clark and Teton counties in Idaho, Teton County in Wyoming and Gallatin County in Montana; eligibility does not extend to every home in those states.
  • The home must be an existing single-family or manufactured home with primary electric heat. It must have an electric forced-air furnace or electric zonal heating, such as baseboard, wall or ceiling-cable heaters, plug-in heaters, or an electric boiler or water heater connected to zoned hydronic floor heating. New manufactured homes also qualify once on site for occupancy, with the same electric-heating conditions.
  • Equipment must be purchased after 1 October 2025. A licensed contractor must install the split-system heat pump with an inverter-driven outdoor compressor and an inverter-driven or variable-speed blower. Its HSPF2 heating-efficiency rating must meet the federal minimum, demonstrated by an AHRI equipment certificate.
  • Installation must use a dedicated electrical circuit and follow the manufacturer’s specifications, including correct refrigerant charging, and the required ductless installation guide. The guide requires compliance with building codes and manufacturer instructions; it also covers unit mounting, refrigerant tubing, drainage, insulation and protection, and teaching the homeowner how to operate and maintain the system as the primary heat source.
  • Variable refrigerant flow systems, also called VRV, do not qualify. This entry covers individual ductless heads and ducted mini-splits.
  • Fall River Electric may inspect the installation for programme compliance.
